The Bay Rat Lures Fat Rat is a custom quality, hand painted, floating, crankbait, constructed with 100% USA made materials and components.

Special care was taken when designing the placement of the belly hook of the Bay Rat Lures Fat Rat so that it does not tangle with the rear hook or the bill. The Bay Rat Lures Fat Rat deflects high off of cover and swims with an erratic wobble, triggering strikes from virtually all species of fish. An internal rattle creates an enticing sound that is hard to resist. The Bay Rat Lures Fat Rat trolls very well for species such as trout, salmon, and walleye.

I purchased one of each of the chrome fat rats, this color has been the best. During my last fishing trip I caught 13 fish, with this lure taking 9 of them. I caught a mixed batch of browns, steelhead, smallies and a lake trout with at least 1 of each on this color. Awesome lures. Cost a little more than other lures but worth it.
